Thomas McCurtains GAA Club Notes

September 12, 2016

A very successful weekend for the club saw three teams all record good wins. The Camogie team won their first game at the senior grade as they played Shire Gaels in Birmingham on Saturday morning. Later that afternoon the Hurlers were in action against St Gabriel's 'B' team knowing a win would see them qualify for the Semi Finals, and they duly delivered controlling the second half of the game against a weakened Gabriel's side.

On the underage scene the U-14 Footballers had a great win against Gael London in the Division 2 League Semi Final. Goals proved to be the decisive factor as the young macs scored eight to Gael London's four. They will now play St Clarets in the League decider in early October.

There is only one team in action this weekend as the Hurlers play their Championship Semi Final against Brothers Pearse on Saturday. All support welcome.
