Tara beat FR Murphy's in the second round of the Senior Camogie Championship in Greenford on Saturday morning on a score line of 2-17 to 0-0. While Tara took the lead early in the game there was still some great camogie to be seen by both sides. With Sarah McNichol  patrolling the half back line for Tara it's not surprising the Murphy girls, who also were a few players down,  found it hard to get a score. In the forwards for Tara, Clare Ryan gave an excellent display notching up a total of 7 points (3 from frees). The scorers for Tara were Maria Ryan 1-3, Orlaith Jennings 1-4, Anna Nyhan 2 points, Emer Kelly 1 point. Tara face Croydon next Sunday in the third round of the Championship in Mitcham at 11am.
