MEN'S FOOTBALL

Dulwich played their penultimate match in the Division 3 league against Eire Og last Saturday afternoon at Downhills Park. Conditions were testing for both sides with Dulwich aided with the breeze in the first half. The away side were quick out of the blocks and registered the opening score from their first trip into the Eire Og half of the field. An effective game plan saw Dulwich lead 1-07 to 1-01 at the break.

The second half began in the same manner as the first with Dulwich clinical in front of the posts, and kept the scoreboard ticking over. Dulwich ran out comprehensive winners against the league leaders, winning on a scoreline of 2-15 to 1-03.

There is no respite for the Men's team with the Championship semi-final this weekend against Tara. Throw-in is at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday in Greenford (Pitch 2). Dulwich are back in the semis for the first time in three years, and we would welcome all club members to come out and lend their support to the team on the day.
