Lory Meagher round-up: Sligo claim Connacht derby spoils

Sligo will face Louth in this year's Lory Meagher Cup final on June 4th in Croke Park.

The group stages concluded today and the Yeats County got the better of Connacht neighbours Leitrim on a scoreline of 1-22 to 2-5 at Markievicz Park.

Matthew Davey's late goal applied the gloss to the victory while Leitrim finished the game with 13 players.

The first-half finished with the scoreboard reading Sligo 0-10, Leitrim 2-2.

Meanwhile, Warwickshire rounded off their campaign with a resounding 7-16 to 2-11 success over Lancashire at Páirc na hÉireann.

The sides went in at the break all square, Warwickshire 1-9, Lancashire 2-6, but there was only one team in after the break.
