Coley Folan Memorial Tournament and Family Fun Day

April 27, 2016

This year's event on Saturday 4th June 2016 is an underage tournament for U10, U12 and U14 teams. We are delighted clubs from Warwickshire, London, Dublin and Mayo will be taking part, showcasing the tremendous enthusiasm and passion of our underage players.

There will also be an U19 exhibition game between Sean McDermotts and St Brendan's, the finalists in last year's u18 All-Britain Competition. Again we are proud to have the support of Warwickshire County Board who are kindly providing the  tremendous facilities of Pairc na hEireann to host our event. There will be music throughout the day, children's  entertainment; pop and sweets, bar facilities and hot food. We are extremely grateful to our sponsors for their generosity.

This year's event will be supporting the Tommy O'Donnell Trust. Tommy is a 5 year old boy with a life limiting brain condition (Lissencephaly) who recently lost his daddy to  cancer, aged 39. Tommy suffers daily seizures (up to 15 a day) and requires 24 hour care, often spending  long periods in hospital. Tommy is no longer eligible for financial support so his family must now fund the 24 hour care and respite required. This is challenging for any family but to tragically lose their main bread winner at just 39 (Tommy's Daddy), makes this situation even more heart breaking and challenging.

Please join us remembering our great friend Coley, as we combine his passions of Gaelic games, family, friendship and good craic!

There will be an entrance charge of £3 per person, this includes all children's entertainment (except face painting and glitter tattoos).

Pairc Na hEireann, Catherine de Barnes Lane, Birmingham, B92 0DB

 Games to commence at 10am
