Thomas McCurtains GAA Club wish to express their condolences with the family of former club captain and secretary Don McDonald whose mother Sue passed away last Sunday morning peacefully at her family home.

Upcoming Events:

·    Following on from last years success the club will host a Race Night which will be held on Friday 26th February 2016 in Tommy Flynns Pub in Leytonstone (E11 3AA). There will be a Raffle with some great prizes and a DJ on the night. This promises to be a great event and all are welcome to attend.

·    Dinner & Dance - The 2016 Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday 5th March 2016 in the Prince Regent Hotel, Chigwell (IG8 8AE). Tickets are £35 and can be purchased from committee members. Places are limited so make sure you get yours early to avoid disappointment.

·    The Club are delighted to announce that Thomas McCurtains football, hurling and ladies football teams will be travelling to Cork on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of April to play Passage West GAA Club in challenge matches to mark the centenary of 1916.

·    The Clubs Annual Golf Fundraiser - This will be held on Saturday 2nd July 2016. Last years was a great success and we hope to make this one even better. More details will be released later.

·    The Clubs Annual Funday - Will be held on Saturday 16th July 2016.

Ladies Football:

Ladies training for the forthcoming season begins Thursday 11th Feb in Goodmayes pitch at 7pm. All new players are welcome. Please contact Finnian O'Dowd (07966 806 011) for further details.

Camogie:

Training continues on Saturday mornings at 11am in East London Rugby Club (Post code: E15 3BP), near West Ham station on pitch 4. If you want any further info please contact Eoin at [email protected]

New Players:

New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. We have Gaelic Football & Hurling teams for both men and ladies from u-8s up to Adults. We are based in East London; the club covers a wide area and current players live in many different areas, including, Gants Hill, Woodford, Leyton, Leytonstone, Stratford, Romford, Dagenham, Brentwood & Chelmsford as well as many other areas. Transport to and from training and pick-up from stations can be arranged, if required.
