Eire Og London club notes

November 23, 2015

The club hosted a University game on Saturday between Imperial College London and Birmingham University in Downhills Park. The weather conditions had a major impact on the game. Birmingham ran out winners.

Training takes place on Tuesday evenings at 7.45pm in Highgate Wood School, N8 8RN. The nearest tube station is Highgate on the Northern Line.

New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. If you are moving to London we can assist new players with accommodation and employment.

We are based in North London and have our own pitch and clubhouse. The club covers a wide catchment area for players and includes; North, East and Central London, the city of London and Westminster, boroughs of Islington, Camden, Haringey, Kilburn, Hackney, along with many other areas. Transport to and from training and pick-up from tube and train stations can be arranged, if you would like to join our club, please contact John Tierney on 07833014014 or check out our website www.eireoglondon.org

Our next social event is on Saturday 12th December starting at 3pm. It is our annual 12 Pubs of Christmas. The event will commence at 3pm. Christmas attire is compulsory. More information of the route will be published in the next couple of weeks.

A little birdy has told us that we will be featured on www.joe.ie this week.
