Sympathy

London Youths Committee would like to offer their sincere sympathy to the family and friends of the late Christy Kissane who passed away recently. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.


Congratulations

London Youths Committee would like to take this opportunity to wish Paddy Curtin the very best of luck as he takes up his new position as London Coach for the London Senior team. Paddy will do a wonderful job and we wish him a very successful career.


London Youths presentations for 2015
London Youths Committee held their Annual Presentation Night last Friday night the 20th of November at Irish Tv GAA Grounds in Ruislip.
London Youths Chairman Tony Griffin welcomed everyone to the presentation evening and spoke about the importance of our future Gaels in London. He thanked all the Committee members and coaches and mentors for all their hard work in helping to develop the Youths in London. A special thanks went out to all the referees and for the help from the London Senior Board throughout the year. Legendary footballer Tomás O' Sé was on hand to do some of the presentations after which he launched his autobiography 'White Heat'. Presentations were made to all the London GAA Underage County teams from the Under 14 London Féile Hurling and Football Teams, to the Under 16 and Under 18 Football Teams and to Player of the year for each age group as follows.

To finish off a wonderful evening a beautiful Buffet was enjoyed by everyone with a special thanks to Kevin Kelly and staff at Ruislip.


Minor Football League Final

Tir Chonaill Gaels/Round Towers v Parnells was cancelled on Sunday the 22nd of November which will be rearranged at a later date.


Foundation Level Gaelic Football Coaching Course
London GAA will be running a Foundation Level Gaelic Football Coaching Course on Saturday, December 5th in the Emerald Grounds, Ruislip. The Course is limited to 25 people and in the interest of fairness, only accept 5 nominations from each Club. The Course will run from 9am until 5pm with a half an hour Lunch Break at 1 pm - lunch is provided. There will theory based work and practical work involved on the Course so coaches should bring appropriate training gear/footwear.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so please contact me ASAP if you are interested in attending.
