NLS Club notes & Golf Day
The senior team was in action against the Kerry Kingdom Gaels in the championship on Saturday. Playing against the breeze in the first half the shamrock were trailing 7-4 at half time. NLS drew level with a goal from Costello but unfortunately were not able to push on and ended up losing on a score line of 0-12 to 1-6. The reserves started the championship with a victory over Tir Chonnaill Gaels with the final score 4-11 to 0-5. The club would like to congratulate former player Andrew Power and Debbie who are getting married this week in Ireland.

North London Shamrocks would like to invite you to take part in our annual Golf Day. We will be holding the event at Crews Hill Golf Club on the 11th September. The tee times will be running from midday to 2pm. Please let club know your preferred tee off time and we will endeavour to accommodate you.

The cost is £200 per team (£50 for individual golfers). The day will comprise of coffee and bacon rolls, 18 holes of golf, prizes for the best team scores, best front and back 9 holes, longest drive and nearest the pin. There will be dinner in the evening with entertainment, a raffle and an auction. Partners or people who are unable to attend during the day are welcome in the evening. The cost for evening only tickets will be £25 per head.

Hole sponsorship is available at £50 per hole and advertisements will be displayed at the tee boxes. We are hoping to have multiple sponsors per hole.

Training currently takes place on Tuesday and Thursday night's starting at 7.30pm at our home ground, Tottenhall Sports Ground, Tottenhall Road, London N13 6LH. We cater for all standards fielding a senior and a reserve team.
