U12 Notes

We played Tara in the league semi final on Friday 17th July at East Lane. Never quite reaching the performance levels of the previous weekend, we would run out losers to a very determined Tara team by the narrowest of margins. Tara would go on to defeat Dulwich Harps in the final on the same evening. Congratulations to Tara, who played excellent football in both matches.

On Saturday 18th July, we travelled with a small group of players to take part in the Thomas McCurtains Annual Blitz. Played in a league format, we would play and defeat Sean McDermotts, Tir Chonail Gaels, Thomas McCurtains and North London Shamrocks. We would meet Sean McDermotts again in the final, and come out on top by a score of 1-03 to 1-00. Well done to all of the players on the day; Conor Griffin, Eddie Morrissey, Aidan Doran, Daniel Rossiter, Jamie Okoli, Beanón Corrigan, Darragh Griffin, Harry Grey and Ronan Hutchins, who showed great skill, determination and resilience in all of the matches which were played in the right spirit and in hot conditions. Thanks to all at Thomas McCurtains for their hospitality, and to all parents who attended and assisted with transport on the day.

Training

We will continue training as normal throughout the summer, and to those of you travelling further afield, we wish you a safe and enjoyable summer.
