John Mitchels are safely through to the semi-final stage of the Warwickshire SFC.

They recorded their third successive victory last weekend, beating St Barnabas of Nottingham to become the first side through to the knockout phase of the competition.

Mitchels were far too strong for their opponents at Pairc na hEireann as two goals inside five minutes from Brendan Hickey fired them to a 2-17 to 1-2 success.

Meanwhile, Erin go Bragh defeated St Finbarrs in Division Two to seal a quarter-final place.
