The Thomas McCurtains Quiz Night took place on Saturday in Tommy Flynn's Bar Leytonstone and was a huge success. Many thanks to the Hurlers and Men's and Ladies Football Team Members who supported the night. Many thanks to the Staff at Tommy Flynn's Bar for their Welcome and Raffle Prizes

There will be a Mass on Sunday 3rd May in St Vincent's Church at 12.00pm for Former Club President Bill Treacy and all deceased Club Members.

MENS FOOTBALL NOTES

Training continues Tuesday and Thursday in Goodmayes at 7.30pm.

The Footballers beat St Anthony's 1-08 to 1-05 in round two of the McArdle Cup on Sunday the 29th of March to maintain their winning start to the new season. We were delighted to have Phillip Murphy return to the fold after his recent appearances with the London Senior Hurlers, he put in a tireless performance at centre forward. Richard Ellis was also once again outstanding in the full back line.

Footballers are next out on; Saturday 11th April, at Greenford, in the McArdle Cup Round Three at 4.30pm against St Clarets

MENS HURLING CLUB NOTES

Training continues Tuesday and Thursday in Goodmayes at 7.30pm.

The Hurlers are out on Sunday 12th April, at Greenford at 1.30pm in the London Intermediate Hurling Championship Preliminary Round against Fr Murphys

LADIES NOTES

Ladies training takes place on Tuesday at 7pm in Goodmayes pitch (IG3 8XJ). No training this Thursday the 2nd of April.

On Saturday Night Tomas McCurtains/NLS Minor Team took part in an exhibition match under lights against The London County U-18 Development Squad as part of 'Saturday Night Feast of Football' in Greenford. They were unlucky to lose out but some good football was on display with Good Performances Especially from Dermot Lawlor and Liam
