Fullen Gaels Camogie news

March 30, 2015

We kicked of the 2015 season in Birmingham on the 7th of March at the annual 9-a-side tournament. After a tough day of games we made it to the final of the shield. Unfortunately we were unable to defend the title we won last year, with Erin go Bragh earning the shield this year.
Training has now well and truly kicked off and we welcome a new coach Vincent Morrisey who will join Conall Maskey in putting us through our paces! This year sees a new structure to the camogie league. We will be competing in an amalgamated league which will include both junior and senior teams; ensuring we get as many games and as much fun out of the tournament as possible.
Our annual dinner dance is also just around the corner. On Saturday the 11th April we will join Fullen Gaels Hurling Team in rounding up the 2014 season and looking forward to 2015.
It's great to see some new faces at Hough End this year and we encourage anybody interested in playing camogie in Manchester or the surrounding areas to join us, we welcome all players from county level to complete beginners; the more the merrier!!
