Two objections against Ruislip development

The London borough council looking after planning of the proposed redevelopment of the Emerald GAA grounds in Ruislip have received two objections against the project.

Hillingdon Council have received the objections, which could put back the start date of the work which was due to begin in November.

The council confirmed to the Irish Post that planning would not be discussed until their October 7th meeting, which would set the start date back by at least a month.

There are concerns now that London GAA will not have the redevelopment work completed before their footballers Connacht SFC clash against Roscommon next May.

It is alleged that the London board are considering postponing construction work until late next year, unless they get the go-ahead soon.
