Fr Murphy's Ladies had a great day, at the Premiership Rugby double header at Twickenham Stadium recently, the Clubs main sponsor Clonakilty Black Pudding were exhibiting and the girls helped distributing samples to the vast 62,000 crowd
during the day the girls met Telvision Presenter Graig Doyle, as well as former rugby Internationals Laurence Dalagio and Austin Healey, they even found time to try out the Etixx scrumagging machine, showing some of the rugby boys how it was done
they were also given tickets for the games, courtesey of Clonakilty Black Pudding and London Irish Rugby Club. The club would like to thank both for their hospitality and a wonderful day. This comes very soon after the girls featuring on the Setanta/Premier Sports TV,documentary Home from Home, which was widely aclaimed both in Ireland and Britain.
Next up will be Sunday September 21st, at The Richmond run day, in Old Deer Park,when the club, will have underage hurling/camogie teams and the adult teams demonstrating the skills of the games and inviting locals to join in.
Then it will be back to county championship action in Football and Camogie
