The seniors gained there place in another Hertfordshire County County Championship Final with a 1.7 to 0.8 victory over Saint Colmcilles of Saint Albans.
In a game that was always going to be tight and low scoring weather conditions didn't help as Hurricane Bertha left its mark on scoring. The opening 20 minutes were played in heavy rain the score at half time was 0.4 to 0.2
The second half Rovers started like men possessed scoring 1.3 without reply in ten minutes. Rovers looked like they would run away with it at this stage but a harsh red card with some truly shooking refereeing led to a comeback. However some heroic defending and amazing work rate the players got there reward of another County Final. Well done to all involved and a big thanks to the supporters who braved the elements.
