Thomas McCurtains club notes

Members of the Club were saddened to hear the news of the passing away of Club President Timmy O'Sullivan on Friday Morning. Timmy joined the club in 1957 and played for the club for many years. Timmy's children and grand-children are still heavily involved in the club and everyone at Thomas McCurtain's thoughts and sympathies are now with his family at this time.

The removal to St Peters & Pauls church will be at 7pm on Wednesday the 16th of July with the funeral mass on Thursday the 17th of July at 12pm.

Upcoming Events
19th July 2014 - The Thomas McCurtain Fun day will take place in Goodmayes commencing at 11am. Entertainment will include BBQ and food stalls, an on-site bar, amusements and much more. There will be an underage football and hurling blitz, senior ladies football, mum's v dad's competions and lots more. The after party will be in O'Grady's Irish bar starting at 8.00pm.

Men's Hurling & Football
Men's hurling and football training continues this Tuesday at 7.30pm for the footballers & Thursday will be both hurling and football in Goodmayes.

The footballers played their final league game v TCG last Thursday in Greenford where they lost 2-09 to 0-07. The footballers turn their attention to the 2nd round of the championship where they will play St Clarets on Sunday the 20th July in Greenford at 1.30pm where a win will secure a semifinal spot.

The hurlers will play the Intermediate Hurling Championship Round 2 v Kilburn Gaels B at 7.30pm Tuesday the 15th of July and Round 3 v Sean Traceys at 4.30pm on Saturday the 19th of July, both games will be played in Goodmayes

Ladies Notes
Training this week as normal in west ham Tuesday and Thursday 7pm.
