Seniors

The Seniors took on Glen Rovers last Sunday in the Championship at Stockwood Park. The teams were fairly even for long periods of the game but the Watford side pulled away in the last 10 minutes to record a 1-16 to 1-07 win.

This leaves them with a must win game on Sunday next against Eire Og in Oxford at Horspath Grounds at 3pm

On Thursday evening they took on St.Josephs(Waltham Cross) in the League down in Enfield. They recorded a comfortable victory in what wasn't ideal preparation for the Championship but still good to get back to winning ways. Cormac Healy scored an impressive 2-03 in full forward.

Training continues next week on Tuesday and Thursday evening in Stockwood Park at 7.30pm. All players asked to attend in preparation for Sundays game.

Underage

The Club held an enjoyable Club Day and Benny McCaffrey Memorial Tournament last Saturday at St.Josephs, Gardenia Avenue. There was football from u8s - u18s, ceili music and Irish dancing. The u18s retained the Benny McCaffrey cup with a fine win over Tir Chonaill Gaels. A great team with a few lads already on the Senior Panel and the rest we hope to see pushing for a place next year.

Also a massive thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success. Whether you helped set up or sponsored a raffle prize it is all very much appreciated.

The All-Britain Competition takes place this weekend in Greenford with the club entering teams from u8s - u18s. Best of luck to all the teams taking part and hopefully our u18s can defend their British title on Sunday afternoon.

The club is holding a Cul Camp at St Josephs Gardenia Avenue, Luton on Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th from 10am - 2pm. It is priced at £10 for one day, £20 for two or £25 for all three days. Always enjoyed by all the children that attend and they also get a GAA kit and kitbag.
