Adult Football;
Sigersons senior men will face Urney in a relegation play off on Sunday 22nd October in Páirc Mhíc Sioghair at 3.30pm.
Social;
This Friday will see the Irish Language classes continue in Sigersons at 7.30pm.
Youth Football;
Congratulations to the under 16 boys who progressed to the Semi Final of the Grade 2 Championship after defeating Loughmacrory away from home on Saturday 3-9 2-6, it was a very tense and tight game with Strabane leading 2-3 0-4 at half time however a Loughmacrory fightback began in the second half and the sides were level with eight minutes to go but Strabane pulled away scoring 1-3 late on to progress.
The lads will now face Cookstown this Saturday at 1.30pm in with the venue to be confirmed, this has been a brilliant campaign from the lads so far and they will need all the support possible on Saturday.
This Saturday morning Sigersons will host the annual Gearailt Uí Dhochartaigh (Gerard O'Doherty) tournament for under 10 boys, could all parents please provide sandwiches for the visiting teams.
On Sunday the main event in the Tyrone GAA sporting calendar the Division 1 Football Championship Final takes place in Healy Park between Omagh and Errigal Ciarán at 4pm. However, Strabane will have representation on the day with youth players Ruairi Doherty and Ria Donaghey taking part in the half time games.
Sigersons under 16 girls also having an upcoming semi-final, that game is provisionally fixed for Sunday 15th October against Beragh.
