senior players. Everyone is invited to this great night of entertainment and craic, food will be provided and there will be

Community Garden Some exciting new workshops are planned at Augher Community Garden in the coming weeks.
Thursday 17th August 7.30 - 9.30pm we embark on developing new skills when we have a class up cycling pallets, which
we hope to turn into a seat for Club grounds.
Thursday 24th August we have a Forage walk and preserving demonstration lead by Dermott Hughes, Forage Ireland,
which will start from the grounds of Augher GFC, Assemble at 7 pm for 7.15 walk start. This will be an opportunity to get
out and have a short evening walk, learn about our wild fruits and what to do with them. Participants are advised to wear
suitable clothing and to bring a small jar to bring home some preserved produce.
Thursday 7th September at 7.30 pm we will have a Harvest Evening with a talk and demonstration on chutney making
and preserving of fruit & veg. Workshops are open to all,, booking is important to gauge numbers contact 07714145692
Group also have the opportunity to host a Level Certificate in Practical Horticulture at our Community Garden. This is a
Free Introductory course to Practical Horticulture, delivered through TCV, and will run over approximately 6 weeks, part
time. Training is open to, unemployed, economically inactive or employed(not working more than 16 hours), retired or
