Clonoe O'Rahilly's club notes

August 15, 2017

The Senior Ladies had a great win on Monday past against Moy Tir na nÓg in the Championship Semi Final on a scoreline of 5.12 to 0.11.  Since the formation of the Senior Ladies, last year, they have gone from strength to strength and it is a huge achievement to reach the Championship Final in their second year!  Details of the final have yet to be confirmed.  The ladies have a home league game this Friday evening at 7pmagainst Rock St Patrick's.

The Senior Men are back in League action next Sunday away to Healey Park to take on Omagh St Enda's.  The starred games will be played at the later times of 5pm and 6.30pm.

The U16 boys travelled to Errigal Ciaran on Monday night past but despite a hearty performance the scoreline didn't go our way.  This week the U16s take on Cookstown Fr Frock's on Thursday night in O'Rahilly Park at 7.30pm.

U16 Girls return to league action this Tuesday at 7pm at home against St Macartan's.

U12 girls coaching will run at 5.30pm on Tuesday evening and they will travel to Dungannon (playing fields), on Thursday evening to take on Aodh Ruadh at 6.15pm.  It's a busy week for the U12 girls as they also travel to Annagher for a blitz on Saturday morning at 9.40am.

U10s/8s/6s coaching will be on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm.

A big congratulations to Oisin McHugh and Shane Conlon who represented the club on the victorious Tyrone U16 team who lifted the Buncrana Cup last Saturday, with Shane McCann coaching the team.

The O'Rahilly's will also be well represented in Croke Park on Sunday 27th not just with Declan, Michael and Conor on the senior squad but also with Ryan McCabe, Shane Conlon and Oisin McHugh on the Tyrone U17 squad that will be playing for All Ireland honours in the inaugural U17 Championship Final.  Congratulations to the lads for making the All Ireland Final, and Semi-Final, and best of luck on the day!
