Donaghmore club notes

August 14, 2017

Lotto Results: 7th August 2017 - 8-14-15-19 - There were 2 match 3 winners: Deirdre McVeigh & Martin McCluskey, who each receive £50.  The Jackpot is now £3,000. Next Draw takes place on Monday 14th August 2017

Club Donaghmore: Donaghmore have recently undertaken a rebrand of our Club Donaghmore subscription. Club Donaghmore asks patrons to donate £12.50/month via direct debit allowing the club to meet the everyday costs of maintaining our grounds and providing transport and coaching to our youth teams, for both boys and girls. Since it's inception, the club has held a monthly club draw to award two Club Donaghmore members a monetary prize as a token of our gratitude, amounting to £150 for first prize and £50 for second prize. Donaghmore GAA has now taken the decision to include club membership under this subscription as a way of modernizing our membership collection. This means that any Club Donaghmore member, and their children (under 18), are automatically renewed as members of Donaghmore GAA, whether that be Men's or Ladies. This ensures that all children are suitably insured to play our games and also allows parents to seamlessly sign their child up, without the need to attend either of our registration nights, whilst also directly contributing to the running costs for buses and coaching for our future stars. Further details and subscription forms will be provided via social media and in the Torrent Complex in the near future. Club Donaghmore - A Club for All Ages

Club Referee: Any club member that is interested in undertaking training for GAA refereeing, please contact any member of the Donaghmore GAA Committee. Courses are currently taking place for girls/boys aged 14-17 but alternative arrangements can be made for any interested club member outside this age bracket.

Youth Club Volunteers: Our local Youth Club has recently restarted, with a few volunteers helping to supervise the children on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Unfortunately, the success of the re-launch means that the Youth Club is currently short staffed, especially on Friday evenings. We are therefore asking for anyone interested in helping out to contact Grace Girvan in BEAM for further information, or alternatively speak with Eamonn Hamill or any member of Donaghmore GAA committee and we will assist you.
