Sigersons were defeated by reigning county champions Killyclogher in Páirc Mhíc Sioghair on a score line of 0-13 0-7, Sigersons gave a very spirited and battling performance against strong opposition.

Sigersons reserves were well beaten by Killyclogher however a positive for Strabane was the squad was filled with youth including eight minors.

This Saturday will see our Seniors and Reserves travel to Omagh on Sunday with the games at 2.15pm & 3.45pm, all support much appreciated.

 

Senior Ladies;

On Thursday night Sigersons senior ladies were narrowly defeated by Clan na nGael is Páirc Mhíc Sioghair, the girls battled very well but it wasn't enough to earn a victory.

 

400 Club Draw;

The 400 club June draw will take place on Friday 30th June in the social club, can everyone who purchased a ticket please ensure they are fully paid up for the month of June.

 

Tyrone GAA Summer Camps;

Friday is the deadline for early registration for the Tyrone GAA summer camps which take place in Sigersons from 10th to 13th of July; http://tyronegaacentre.com/tyrone-gaa-summer-camps 

 

This year Tyrone GAA will be running a 13 - 16 Year Old's Academy is Strabane for four Tuesday's (4th July, 11th July, 18th July, 25th July), the cost of the camp is £15

 

Youth Football;

Congratulations to the Under 14 boys who defeated Killeeshil away from home on Wednesday night past 3-18 to 2-8 meaning they advance to the Grade 1 Championship Final against either Donaghmore or Ardboe.

 

On Friday night Sigersons Minor boys were defeated by Donaghmore in Páirc Mhíc Sioghair on a score line of 4-9 0-13, the league and championship season has now ended for the lads with the Danny Rouse Memorial tournament coming up soon. Seventeen of these lads have already played Reserve/Senior football this season or last season so it is great to see so many young lads coming through the Sigersons ranks.

Under 16 Boys training for 2017 has resumed for this upcoming season, training will continue every Monday and Friday at 7.30pm. 

 

Training for all youth team under the ages of 12 are as follows;

Girls Go-Games training for girls in classes P3-Y8 Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm.

Boys Go-Games training for boys in classes P3-Y8 Fridays from 6:30-7:30pm.

Gaelic Start Training for Boys & Girls in P1 & P2 classes Friday 6:30-7:30pm.
