Football for U8 boys continues on Thursday night from 7 pm > 8 pm. Due to unfavourable weather conditions, the Moy Tournament for our U8 boys was cancelled last Saturday (24th) but goes ahead this Saturday (1st). All players to meet at the community centre on Saturday morning at 8.45 am sharp, for transport to the Moy and bring a packed lunch.

Our U13 boys had two impressive wins last week against Rock and Kildress and on Monday (26th) evening, they kept their good run going as they comprehensively defeated our neighbours Galbally, in Galbally. We now await the completion of the other league section and we should be in a position to reach the league semi-finals. Well done all the lads and the management team.

The U16 lads played their Grade 1 League Quarter Final vs Cappagh on Saturday the 24th of September. Our team was: Michael Conlon in nets with Mattie-Joe Mc Kenna in front of him with Jude Cunningham and Tiernan Kelly in either corner, our half-back line was Cormac Skeffington, Louis Conlon and Niall Loughran, our midfield pairing was Matthew McCusker and Daniel Miller, half-forward line was Micheal O Neill, Cormac Donaghy and Mark Monaghan and full forward line was Cormac McElvogue, Tomas Hoy and Jason Doyle. This was a very wet and windy day and made conditions tough for both teams. Cappagh opened the scoring with a goal, but it was soon cancelled out as Killeeshil got one of our own. Some great defending from Mattie-Joe Mc Kenna, Jude Cunningham and Tiernan Kelly that started attacks through Daniel Miller, Cormac Donaghy, Cormac Mc Elvogue and Tomas Hoy left Killeeshil going in at the break 3-08 to 3-00.  Scores from Jason Doyle, Tomas Hoy, Cormac Donaghy, Micheal O Neill, Matthew McCusker and Daniel Miller. Cappagh piled on the pressure on Killeeshil at the start of the second half and got a few points. Killeeshil weathered that storm with good defending from Mattie-Joe McKenna, Jude Cunningham and Cormac Skeffington. Killeeshil got some great moves together with Louis Conlon, Niall Loughran, Matthew McCusker linking up with Mark Monaghan, Cormac Donaghy and Tomas Hoy. Michael Conlon pulled of a great save towards the end of the game. Final score Killeeshil 5-13 Cappagh 4-03. Scores during second half came from Daniel Miller, Cormac Donaghy, Louis Conlon and Niall Loughran. Training this week on Tuesday at 6.30 pm and Thursday at 7 pm. Up next is our Grade 1 U16 Championship Semi Final Killeeshil vs Dungannon on Saturday (1st) morning (venue TBC). All support is much appreciated. Good luck lads.

Our senior men welcomed Owen Roes to Killeeshil on Sunday (25th). During the 1st half we conceded two sloppy goals as Owen Roes went in leading at the break and in the 2nd half we battled hard, showing spirit but Owen Roes were more clinical in front of the posts. Final score = Owen Roes 2-11, Killeeshil 1-6. Men's reserve and senior training continues this week on Tuesday and Friday at 7.30 pm.

Congratulations to our senior stalwart, Earl Gormley on the birth of his daughter Erin.
