On Saturday 4th July we hosted an U8 & U10 girls blitz in Killeeshil.  All the girls done really well playing their hearts out!!  We want  to thank all the parents of the under 8 and 10 girls for their help on the day at the blitz, also the girls that came to help to referee games and to the men that helped to line out the pitch! We are very grateful for all your support!! Big thanks also to the teams that travelled so far - Strabane and Castlederg and to our neighbours Errigal - thanks for coming to our blitz! A big thank you also to the 2 ladies who helped organise the day - Danuta McGahan and Claire Hegarty who ensured everything went so well!!!

Our U12 girls play Donaghmore in Killeeshil on Wednesday at 7pm.  Please go along support our young hoops!

The U12 boys had a home game on Wednesday 1st v Clonoe in Rd 5 of the Go Games and with a few players missing it was a chance for some of the younger players to make their mark and they grabbed the opportunity with a great team performance which led to a comfortable win! Next up for these young lads is a home fixture v Loughmacrory on Wednesday evening at 7pm. All support much appreciated.

Monday 6th July was another great night for the Club when our Og Sport lads lifted the Grade 1 Title in Garvaghey.  They had to overcome a strong team in Moortown in the semi-final. At the beginning, both teams seemed evenly matched but Killeeshil gradually ran away with the game and gained a spot in the final where they then faced neighbours Errigal Ciaran. This game was hard hitting, intense, and really testing for our young lads. At half time we had built a 3 point lead which was huge for confidence. Very early into the second half, Errigal cancelled out that lead and the teams were level! Leaders of the team like Louis Conlon and Danny Millar supplied Tomas Hoy and Jason Doyle with class A passes and Tomas and Jason knocked over scores and then we scored a goal which secured the win on a final score = Killeeshil 1-14 Errigal Ciaran 1-9! Mattie-Joe McKenna was presented with the trophy after the final whistle! All the 10 lads put in a great effort and all deserve applause! Massive congratulations to the team and the management team of the 2 Packies from all in the club for taking home the silverware. Thanks to all the supporters who came along on the night!

Our U16 lads play Ardboe at home on Thursday evening at 1930 hrs.  Please go along and support this talented team!

Our mens senior & reserve teams welcomed Loughmacrory to Killeeshil on Sunday. Our reserves played some nice football in the 1st half but a much stronger Loughmacrory outfit eventually raced away with the game!  The senior match was a much closer affair where a few unfortunate bounces of the ball and breaks went against us in the 1st half and meant we went in at half time 5 pts down. However we started the 2nd half in rousing fashion scoring 4 points in a row to get back within a point of Loughmacrory but after this some wayward shooting from us meant Loughmacrory pulled away again, finishing 6 point victors!

Our senior ladies are due to face Aodh Ruadh in Killeeshil on Friday evening at 7pm. All support much appreciated.

Commiserations to our senior ladies Grainne Rafferty, Emma-Louise Mulgrew and Zoe Loughran who were all part of the Tyrone Ladies Senior team who were defeated on Sunday 5th by Donegal in Breffni Park in the Ulster                               Championship Semi Final.
