Today saw three games down for decision as the Leinster and Connacht SFC continues, while the Ulster campaign got underway.

Galway played their second championship game of the year as they took on Leitrim in Carrick-on-Shannon. This game threw in at 3.30pm.

Also at this time was the meeting of Louth and Westmeath who clashed in Drogheda this afternoon. These sides are very familiar with each other having met frequently in the championship over the past few years.

Then at 4pm, we had one of the most eagerly awaited games of the year so far as Donegal hosted Tyrone in Ballybofey. This was set to be a tense battle between well-equipped sides.
