Tyrone U21 manager Fergal Logan fired a broadside at a leading bookmaker and a Dublin-based newspaper after his side's All-Ireland semi-final victory over Roscommon.

The former county star felt his players had been disrespected by odds of 9/4 and by a newspaper preview which he described as 'lazy'.

Logan, who held a clipping of the newspaper preview in his hand after the 0-17 to 0-12 win over Roscommon, is quoted in the Ulster Herald as saying: " Maybe they'll (newspaper) know who our star men are now and also tell Paddy Power we were grateful for odds of 9/4. People who are kicking Tyrone football, keep kicking because I will tell you the more you kick the more we will be kicking back.

"Any good journalist should do his research properly and in a preview at least give the players enough respect to use their names.

"It's a fairly lazy journalist who doesn't even know the name on one Tyrone player on the pitch and uses (Peter) Canavan and (Brian) Dooher to write that Tyrone's star men are now on the sidelines."
