It was an eventful day on the club front yesterday so we selected a football team of the week from the big games across Ulster, Leinster and Munster.

1. Niall Mullan (Rock)

Kept a clean sheet as the Tyrone side finished with 11 points to spare over Donegal opponents Urris in the Ulster Club JFC final on Saturday.

2. Fearghal McNamara (Austin Stacks)

The Tralee club's corner-back came out on top in his personal duel with the Nire's rising teenage star Conor Gleeson.

3. Justin McMahon (Omagh St Enda's)

No finger of blame can be pointed in the direction of the Tyrone All-Ireland winner who restricted Paul Bradley to a pointed free during the course of the 60 minutes at the Athletic Grounds.

4. Conan Cassidy (Slaughtneil)

Cassidy played his part in a historic day for the Derry champions and was involved in the build-up to Christopher Bradley's match-winning point.

5. Ryan Magee (Warrenpoint)

Magee was solid in defence as Warrenpoint created history by becoming the first Down team to win the Ulster Club IFC title courtesy of a 1-14 to 1-7 success over Inniskeen.

6. Barry Tierney (Omagh St Enda's)

Enjoyed a ding-dong tussle with Christopher Bradley and netted his third goal in three successive games in the provincial championship.

7. John O'Brien (Sean O'Mahonys)

Wee County player O'Brien led by example as 14-man Sean O'Mahonys put Meath's Ballinlough to the sword in the Leinster Club IFC decider.

8. Patsy Bradley (Slaughtneil)

Laid the foundations for Slaughtneil's one-point success with a powerful second-half display against Omagh.

9. Greg Horan (Austin Stacks)

The Tralee midfielder grew in prominence as the game progressed and gained control of the middle third sector.

10. Michael O'Gorman (The Nire)

O'Gorman and his Nire team-mates took the fight to Austin Stacks but they ran out of steam in the second-half.

11. Christopher Bradley (Slaughtneil)

Was caught napping when his marker Tierney roamed forward to find the back of the Slaughtneil net but registered four points from play, including the all-important winner.

12. Damien Wallace (Ardfert)

The full-forward line man helped himself to 1-5, 1-4 from play, as Kerry's Ardfert edged out Valley Rovers of Cork in the Munster Club IFC final.

13. Cormac O'Doherty (Slaughtneil)

Gave his side the perfect start when raising a green flag in the first minute and added another two points to his individual tally.

14. Kieran Donaghy (Austin Stacks)

If Carlsberg did years ... Star rounded off a memorable 2014 by inspiring Austin Stacks to a first provincial club success since 1976.

15. Shane O'Callaghan (Austin Stacks)

The Kerry conveyor belt looks to have produced another forward of the top drawer variety in O'Callaghan who notched 1-1 against The Nire.
