There was another busy afternoon in store with three provincial finals and three All-Ireland SFC qualifiers played.

In Connacht, defending champions Mayo took on old rivals Galway in the provincial decider at MacHale Park.

The Ulster senior hurling final saw Antrim put their title on the line against Derry at Owenbeg. Then at 4pm, we had the eagerly awaited Munster SHC final between Cork and Limerick at Pairc Ui Chaoimh in a repeat of last year's contest.

Two of the three football qualifiers threw in at 2pm. Carlow entertained Clare at Dr Cullen Park, while Down hosted Kildare at Pairc Esler. Then at 3pm, Armagh traveled to Healy Park where they will took on home side Tyrone.

We also brought updates from the provincial minor finals involving Mayo and Roscommon in Connacht and Limerick and Waterford in Munster.
