"Dublin will be a different animal now" - Harte

Mickey Harte is intrigued to see how Brian Cuthbert's new-look Cork team fares against Dublin on Sunday.

The sides are due to clash at Croke Park in a mouth-watering national football league semi-final and Tyrone boss Harte - whose Red Hands played these teams in their last two outings and failed to win either - believes the Dubs will provide a litmus test for the impressive Rebels:

"There is no doubt that they (Cork) have successfully integrated a lot of young quality players into the team but getting the balance between new energetic blood and enough seasoned campaigners is probably Brian Cuthbert's biggest challenge," the Tyrone manager writes in The Irish News.

"To date, he seems to be mastering that task with some ease as his new-look team topped the Division One table.

"Despite the fact that Cork had such a good win against Kerry last weekend, Kerry clearly had a bad day - and I am acutely aware of how that feels - so it's still difficult to determine just how good they can become this season.

"After Sunday's game in Croke Park, they will have a far better idea of the real quality of this new-look Rebels team.

"When the sides met in the regular league game in February, Cork had an impressive win but Dublin will be a different animal now with the potential of back-to-back league titles only two games away."
