Nickie Quaid has been handed the honour of captaining the Limerick senior hurlers in 2016.
TJ Ryan and his selectors have announced the goalkeeper as their captain for the new season while Seamus Hickey will act as vice-captain.
The pair take over from Donal O'Grady and Paudie O'Brien who were Limerick senior hurling captain and vice-captain respectively in 2015.
