Donegal get double boost

Donegal's Paddy McGrath
Paddy McGrath and Neil McGee will be fit for Donegal's Ulster SFC preliminary round meeting with Antrim on Sunday week.

Corner-back McGrath and full-back McGee missed the recent NFL Division 2 final win over Laois due to quad strain and hamstring injuries respectively, but both have made full recoveries and will be fit for the Ballybofey showdown, which will kick-start RTE's live TV championship schedule this summer.

Key players Karl Lacey and Michael Murphy also came through the league decider unscathed, according to manager Jim McGuinness.

"The only slight concern we have for the Antrim game is that a few players picked up some bumps and bruises in the All-County League last weekend," he told the Irish Independent.

"But none of those are of a serious nature, so, hopefully, we will have a full panel to pick from for Sunday week."
