Five-man committee set up to find new Tipp manager

The search for a new Tipperary senior hurling manager has begun in earnest.
The Tipperary County Board has formed a five-man committee tasked with finding a successor to Michael Ryan over the coming weeks.
Ryan stepped down from the role earlier this month having been appointed as manager in 2016, winning the All-Ireland title in his first year.
The committee is being headed by the county board's chairman John Devane, vice-chairman Joe Kennedy, secretary Tim Floyd, treasurer Michael Power and PRO Joe Bracken.
No time limit has been set on finding a new manager, but it is thought that the committee would like to have a candidate in place for ratification before the knockout stages of the county senior hurling championship.
