Munster Ladies Football Club Championship

Senior B Semi Final

On Saturday, September 30th Cahir overcame Brian Borus in the County Tipperary Senior Final and lined out on Sunday last against Southern Gaels (Kerry) in the Munster Senior B Semi Final. Cahir started well and went in at half time two points the better but a tight second half meant that at the end of normal time it was level requiring extra time to separate the teams; Cahir 3-14 Southern Gaels (Kerry) 1-20. Cahir succeeded in finishing the game on a score line Cahir 3-19 Southern Gaels (Kerry) 1-24. They will now play Ballymacarbry (Waterford) in the Munster Senior B Club Championship Final.

Intermediate Championship Quarter Final

Congratulations to Clonmel Commercials who defeated Ballyduff Upper in the Munster Intermediate Club Championship Quarter Final on a score line of Clonmel Commercials 6-16 Ballyduff Upper 2-17 on Friday last. They now look forward to a Semi Final against Ballylanders (Limerick) at a venue and time to be confirmed.

Junior Championship Semi Final

Following a comprehensive defeat over St. Joseph's Doora Barefield (Clare) in the Quarter Final, Fethard earned themselves a Semi Final against Aghada (Cork) which was played on Saturday last in Mallow. This was their final game in the Munster Junior Championship as they met a stronger Aghada on the day.

 

 

Tipperary Ladies Football Under 14 Championship

U14 A Semi Final

Brian Borus will play Fethard in the Under 14 A Semi Final which will be played on Tuesday, October 10th in New Inn at 7.15pm, check www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie for the result. The winner will play Galtee Rovers in the Final which will be played on the weekend of October 14th/15th at a venue and time to be decided.

 

U14 B Semi Final

On Saturday last Moyne Templetuohy overcame St. Patricks in the Under 14 B Semi Final in Littleton. In the other B Semi Final, Templemore overcame Sliabhnamban in Boherlahan on Sunday. Templemore will play Moyne Templetuohy in the Final on the weekend of October 14th/15th at a venue and time to be decided.

 

U14 C Semi Final

Cahir and Arravale Rovers are competing for a Semi Final win on Monday, October 9th, check www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie for the result. The winner will play Clerihan in the Final on the weekend of October 14th/15th at a venue and time to be decided.

 

U14 D Semi Final

On Sunday last Lattin Cullen/Emly defeated Aherlow and now await the result of the other Semi Final which is due to be played on the weekend of October 14th/15th between Thurles Sarsfields and Mullinahone.
