Galway manager Kevin Walsh has named an unchanged side for this Sunday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Tipperary at Croke Park (throw-in 4pm).

Declan Kyne and Gary O'Donnell will occupy the central positions in defence for the Tiribsemen, while Paul Conroy and Thomas Flynn again partner each other at midfield from the 3-16 to 0-14 victory over Roscommon last Sunday week.

Up front, Damien Comer starts on 'the 40' and Shane Walsh is named at full-forward, where he is flanked by Eamon Brannigan and Danny Cummins.

A dislocated shoulder sees defender Cathal Sweeney miss out again, with news breaking during the week that the Killannin clubman is likely to miss the remainder of the summer.

Galway (SFC quarter-final v Tipperary): Bernard Power; Eoghan Kerin, Declan Kyne, David Wynne; Liam Silke, Gary O'Donnell, Gareth Bradshaw; Paul Conroy, Thomas Flynn; Gary Sice, Damien Comer, Johnny Heaney; Eamon Brennigan, Shane Walsh, Danny Cummins
