Tipperary wouldn't have 26 All-Ireland senior hurling titles to their name if they didn't have some fight in them, but surely this is taking it to extremes!
A TV freeze frame doing the rounds on social media appears to show a man with a machine gun wearing a Tipperary GAA jersey in Syria. That said, it could just as easily be a Boca Juniors jersey or a shirt belonging to some other sports team.
Since conflict broke out in Syria in 2011, more than 250,000 Syrians have lost their lives, while thousands more have fled the war-torn country.
