Colin O'Riordan has heaped praise on Tadhg Kennelly for helping him settle to life in the AFL with Sydney Swans.
The ex-Tipperary minor star signed a two-year international rookie contract with the Swans last month and says Kennelly - the only former GAA player to win a Premiership - has been a major help to him Down Under.
"The last time I was over, Tadhg was like a father to me so I have nothing but high praise for Tadhg. If I achieve half the success that he achieved then I will be going well," said
Kennelly, an All-Ireland winner with his native Kerry in 2009, will be part of Australia's backroom team as an assistant coach when they take on Ireland in this Saturday's one-off International Rules test at Croke Park.
