Thurles CBS selector Niall Cahill says there's more to come from the newly-crowned Harty Cup champions.

After seeing his players capture the Harty Cup with a thrilling win over Rochestown in Mallow on Saturday, a proud Cahill pointed out that the season isn't over:

"The journey isn't over yet," he told The Tipperary Star. "A few weeks' time we will be out again and it will be a big challenge and a big opportunity. Ronan Heffernan will be back in the mix and I am delighted for him because he is a great guy to have.

"We have 42 on the panel and a few lads injured, but they have been brilliant, especially the lads who came in for the game. We tried to keep things low-key along the way.

"People said that we struggled over the line against Gaelcholaiste and Castletroy but they didn't value those wins as much as we did.

"We knew we were in for a battle but we had come through undefeated and we were determined to keep it that way."
