Denis Maher could miss the remainder of Tipperary's Allianz Hurling League campaign after dislocating his shoulder in yesterday's win over Galway.
The 23-year-old wing forward, who is in his second year as a county senior, was forced to retire in the 42nd minute of the Division 1A clash at Semple Stadium and will have the injury assessed by a specialist this week.
The Thurles Sarsfields clubman's namesake, Stephen Maher, suffered a broken collarbone during Laois' Division 1B defeat to Waterford on Saturday night.
