Former Tipperary captain Conor Gleeson has joined Eamonn Kelly's backroom team with the Kerry senior hurlers.
The Boherlahan-Dualla clubman replaces Brian Horgan - who had to step down due to family commitments - as coach.
An All-Ireland winner in 2001, Gleeson captained the Premier County in the 1997 Munster and All-Ireland finals (they lost both to Clare) and he is a former manager of the Tipperary intermediate team.
John Griffin, meawhile, has been selected as the captain for 2015.
A regular on the Kingdom panel for the past 10 years, Griffin has been nominated by his club, county champions Lixnaw.
