Peter Creedon is expected to remain in charge of the Tipperary footballers for another season.
The West Cork native, who is a primary school principal, hinted at stepping down in the wake of the Premier County's All-Ireland SFC qualifier fourth round loss to Galway in July, but the Irish Examiner is reporting today that he is poised to continue for a third year after meeting Tipperary officials recently.
Tipp enjoyed a very successful season under Creedon. They won the Allianz League Division 4 title in April before going on an extended championship run that saw them register wins over Limerick, Longford and Laois, and come within a whisker of shocking Cork in the Munster SFC semi-final.
