Tipperary talisman Patrick 'Bonner' Maher has declared himself 100% fit to face Kilkenny in next month's All-Ireland SHC final.

The Tipp centre forward damaged a rib during the warm-up for the Premier County's semi-final victory over Cork and subsequently played for 63 minutes before being forced out of the action.

He confirmed at Tipperary's press night last night that it's all systems go for Sunday week's Liam MacCarthy Cup decider:

"Yeah the ribs are 100%. I'm back training 100% now. It was a light knock, I just needed a few days off and it sorted itself out.

"Yeah it was sore. I wanted to stay on as long as I could, just ground through it. When you're playing in an All-Ireland semi-final and you're winning you don't really want to leave the field so I just ground it out."
