Seamus Callanan was quick to pay credit to his team-mates after his haul of 2-4 sent Tipperary into next month's All-Ireland SHC final against Kilkenny.

"You look around the field and the forwards are nothing without the work-rate of everyone else out the field," he told RTE.

"We might get the plaudits at the end but it was a massive effort put in from everyone inside in that dressing room from one to 31 and everyone involved in the backroom.

"We didn't have the luck at the start of the year, things just weren't going our way but it's not luck, it's due to hard work really but, look, we've nothing won yet so we'll take it step-by-step.

"We're (in an All-Ireland final) now but it means nothing unless we go on and win it."

The Drom & Inch sharpshooter added: "It's a great win, I don't mind who scores, it's just good to be back to an All-Ireland final.

"We've no medal yet though so we'll hope for the best."
