The old failings returned to haunt Tipperary in the latter stages of their Munster SHC semi-final exit to Limerick but back-door wins over Galway and Offaly have got the Premier County back on track.

Tomorrow they will be up against an opponent who will be very familiar with their style of play.

"They know us very well and have very prominent Tipp men in Tommy Dunne, Richie Stakelum and Ryan O'Dwyer," manager Eamon O'Shea pointed out during the week.

"They know our style, but, for us, this is the biggest match of the year in terms of being on our game. It will take a really good performance for us to get through. Dublin have been a top team for three or four years and we expect a mighty battle."

A back injury rules Conor O'Mahony out once against and O'Shea has named an unchanged side for the visit of the defeated Leinster finalists.

Making amends for the comprehensive 0-9 to 0-24 defeat to Kilkenny is the main driving force for Anthony Daly and his players.

"You can take the painful defeats but, like, when you just don't turn up - it's desperate stuff in your head," he said.

"When you play a game like we did in the Leinster final, you feel nothing only really shame - that you let down your fans and your family and all that."

Munster champions Cork await the winners in the last four.
