Upcoming events

With the playing season now concluded, attention turns to off the field activities. Our Annual General Meeting will take place on January 20th, while our Dinner Dance is pencilled in for the 10th of February. Before all that, however, is our annual Married vs Singles match on December 27th where all proceeds raised will go towards Diabetes Ireland. It promises to be another entertaining encounter and a great day of fun! Jackie Gallagher is set to take charge of the Singles team while Michael Sheridan is the man tasked with keeping the Married team unbeaten! Keep an eye out for further details in the coming weeks. 

Astro Turf Development

The indoor astro turf complex at Quigabar is really taking shape with the block work now underway. There has been major progress in recent weeks and we thank those working on the project for their efforts to date. Details of fundraising initiatives will be made available in the coming weeks. Follow our Facebook page and website for updates - it is hoped the development will be finished early in the New Year.

FBD League

Quigabar will host Sligo's opening game of 2017 when they take on Galway on Sunday, January 8th at 2pm in the first round of the FBD League. 

County scene 

Well done to Joseph Martin on his participation with the Sligo U-13 squad in recent weeks as part of their development programme. Their activities concluded last Saturday morning.
