Congratulations to club member Padraig McGourty who was recently appointed manager of the Sligo IT Senior football team. Padraig was a member of our senior team management for the past three years, we wish him well in his new roll.

We are currently selling 10 euro tickets with over 1000 euro in prizes of Hotel Getaway breaks. Tickets are available from all club officers, Coaches and senior players. The draw will take place on 9th October. 

The Connacht GAA Higher Education Bursary Application forms are now available online at www.connachtgaa.ie , the scheme is available to members of the Association who are attending a full-time higher Education course and who are active participants in their Higher Education Club. 

The U-21 championship is scheduled to commence next weekend. Keep an eye on fixtures for details. 

The U.13 team had a busy week with three games. They defeated St. Farnan's and lost narrowly to Easkey and Enniscrone, their final game is against Geevagh on the 9th October. 

Our U-10, U-8 & U-6's finished off their season last weekend with an excellently ran blitz in Owenmore Gaels. Thank you to all who organised this event. Well done to all the coaches, children & parents for their season long efforts every Saturday morning throughout the year. A well earned rest for all! 

The October monthly meeting will take place on Monday 3rd October at 9.30pm in St.Nathy's Hall.
