Sligo Vetrans still have it!

Tourlestrane Junior A football team have qualified for the Lola Montez Sligo Junior A Championship Final following their 4-13 to 1-7 victory over Eastern Harps in Cloonacool on Saturday night last. 

 

Joint Tourlestrane Senior managers, Eamonn O'Hara and Gerry McGowan, who enjoyed many years of football representing the Black and White of Sligo were the topscorers in the clash with old rivals, Eastern Harps

Eamonn was the lead talisman hitting the Harps net on 3 occasions and following up with a further 2 points while  Gerry McGowan raised the white flag on 6 occasions. 

 

With 16 Sligo Senior Championship medals between the two of them, they are now hoping to add a Junior A Championship Medal to their collection.St. Michaels are the team standing in the way of that achievment. The final of the competition on a date to be confirmed.
