Niall Carew says his Sligo side's poor second-half display ended up costing them in yesterday's third round qualifier against Clare.
The Banner men came away from Markievicz Park with a 2-17 to 1-13 victory after having trailed by two at half-time and afterwards Carew cited David Tubridy's 27th minute penalty as the moment that helped swing the game for the visitors.
"I am very disappointed with our second-half display," the Sligo boss lamented afterwards.
"We only performed for 10 minutes after half-time and missed four or five opportunities that would have given us a good cushion.
"If we were further ahead, it might have asked more questions of them. And the Clare penalty was certainly a big turning point.
"We struggled, again, with players running at us from midfield."
