Tourlestrane club notes

Our Senior men continued their unbeaten run in the Division 1 league when they drew with St. Mary's in Kent Park on Saturday evening. The team trailed at half time on a score  of 1-02 to 1-05 but with 9 points in the second half, the team secured a share of the spoils on a full time score of 1-11 to 1-11. The teams next game of the league will take place on the weekend of the 18th of June. 

Our Junior men's team return to action this weekend when they take on St. Molaise Gaels at 7pm in Tourlestrane.

St. John's hosted our U-10 footballers in their most recent game. The team put on another great display with some huge talent coming up the ranks. 

Our U-12 boys team travel to Keash to play Eastern Harps in round 5 of the league.  

Our Minor boys team suffered defeat at the hands of Curry in round 6 of the Division 2 league on Friday last, final score 5-11 to 2-16.

Congratulations to St. Attracta's Community School U-14 team who won the County Schools A Final last week. The team was captained by Leonie Gaughan and player of the match was awarded to Laura Surlis.

Congratulations to Tom Brennan, Ruairí Brennan, Peadar Leonard, Gavin Feely, Declan Loughnane, Patrick Burke and all the Sligo Hurling team and management who beat Leitrim on Saturday, 1-22 to 2-05, in the Lory Meagher Cup. The team have now qualified for the final which will take place in Croke Park on June 4th.
Bingo at Banada Abbey every Tuesday 8.30pm. The Snowball Game is at €1,800 on 45 calls next Tuesday and the Lotto is at €220.  Extra €280 on offer on lucky Number 3 on Game 3.
