Tourlestrane club notes

Our Senior Men recorded their 5th win of their Division 1 league campaign when they overcame Eastern Harps at a sun drenched field in Tourlestrane on Sunday last. The team put up a great team performance with a final score of 2-12 to 0-12. The team travel to St. Mary's on Saturday evening in their next fixture. Throw in in Kent Park is 7pm. 

 

The Minor boys beat St. Molaise Gaels 5-13 to 1-9 in round 5 of the league on Friday last. The team make the short journey to Curry on Friday night for their next game, throw in 7pm. 

 

The U-14 boys team continue their league campaign travelling to Keash on Thursday for round 5. The team take on Eastern Harps at 7pm.

 

Our U-12 girls are due to play their league quarter final in the coming week in a home fixture. The date and time for the semi final has yet to be fixed.

 

Our U-8s/U-10s  travel to St. John's on Wednesday evening for their 4th round games. 

 

Well done to Tom Brennan, Ruairi Brennan, Peadar Leonard, Declan Loughnane and all the Sligo Senior Hurling team and management on their 3-18 to 3-11 win over Lanchashire on Saturday last in Birmingham in the Lory Meagher Cup. 

 

Well done to Leonie Gaughan and Sarah Cunnie who represented the club when they travelled to Portlaoise on Saturday last. The girls had a very early start when they travelled to Laois for the All Ireland U-14 blitz with Sligo. The girls both did the club very proud with outstanding performances receptively. The team are now preparing for the All Ireland C competition. 

 

Bingo at Banada Abbey every Tuesday 8.30pm. Great opportunity to win next Tuesday when
